DESCRIPTION:We are back! Join us for one last outdoor performance this Saturday\, June 25th\, at 3:00 p.m.\nEnjoy an afternoon of dance and live music with Ayazamana Dance Group and Inti Andino.\n\nOur children’s dance group “Nukanchik Sapi ” will do their first outdoor performance\, and the theater program will stage a scene of the new play “Ecuador de Mis Amores.”\n\nWe will also have artisan displays with Makana\, toquilla straw\, and a surprise raffle!\n\nLocation: 34th Avenue and 93rd Street\, Jackson Heights\, NY.\n\nThe event is free and open to the public! \n\n\n\nAyazamana Dance Group \n(Show more)\nFounded and directed by Jose Rivera\, the group performs traditional dances from the different regions of Ecuador. The mission of the dance group is to provide access to Ecuadorian culture through dance.\n\n\nÑukanchik Sapi \n(Show more)\nOur children’s dance program Ñukanchik Sapi\, which in the Kichwa language stands for “our roots”\, provides children and their parents with a space where they can learn about Ecuadorian culture and meet other families.\n\n\nTheater show: Ecuador de mis amores \n \nProduced by The Star Factory\, winner of the Ecuadorian American Cultural Centers Grant in performing arts\, this show is dedicated to those who left their stories behind to build their American dream and left without being able to say goodbye\, without being able to return to our wonderful Ecuador de mis amores.\n\n\nSpecial guests: Inti Andino \n \nThe music group Inti Andino was created with the purpose of disseminating and preserving folkloric Ecuadorian and Andean music. Over the years\, Inti Andino has been adding new music to its repertoire\, including some dancing rhythms.\n\n\n\n
