SUMMARY:Children's Dance Program Open House
DESCRIPTION:Would you like your child to learn traditional Ecuadorian dances? \nOur children’s dance program Ñukanchik Sapi\, which in the Kichwa language stands for “our roots”\, will be holding an open house on Saturday\, April 16th from 2 to 4pm in Astoria. During these two hours families will have the opportunity to meet the instructors\, immerse themselves in a dance rhythm\, ask questions and enjoy a healthy snack. \nÑukanchik Sapi\, which is part of the Ecuadorian American Cultural Center\, is a program that provides children and their parents with a space where they can learn about Ecuadorian culture and meet other families of Ecuadorian descent and beyond. The class has a small fee and meets every Saturday. \nThe program presents a spring and a winter recital where the children perform the various dances they have learned.
